HOTELS VERONA
Abbiamo alloggiato presso l'hotel porta palio qualche giorno fa. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi e soddisfatti. Ottima pulizia delle camere e colazione variegata e ricca. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono. Unica 'pecca' la posizione (20 minuti dall'arena) ma è un giusto compromesso per il prezzo pagato, inoltre a noi interessava maggiormente la vicinanza alla stazione per cui è stato ottimo (10 minuti).Staff cortese e disponibile.Nel complesso possiamo dirci davvero soddisfatti del soggiorno e ci ritorneremmo molto volentieri. Very good hotel. Located in a quiet neighborhood, about 1km from the centre of Verona, it has comfortable and clean rooms, professional staff and everything one expects when he stays in a hotel. Breakfast was very good, served in a spacious room. There is plenty of space to park outside the hotel, which is another advantage if you are travelling by car.
To call this hotel a guesthouse does it a disfavour. The rooms are of a higher standard than Premier Inn by UK standards - large, clean and newly decorated and very functional. They even have tea and coffee making facilities and a bottle of water unusual in Italian hotels. Additional blankets, pillows, many towels and a large bathroom with excellent shower and toiletries including a bidet added to the comfort. Our room (06) also had a safe, fridge and plenty of hangers and a well positioned wall mounted TV. There are CCTV cameras on the front door and in corridors that add to the feeling of security. The room cost included breakfast which was a buffet and compared very admirably to the 4 star hotel breakfast we had enjoyed in our previous hotel in Italy during the same trip. There is also a bar and the prices of wine and beer were low and of generous measures. The reception staff were very helpful in providing maps, directions etc. There is also a free shuttle bus to their sister restaurant if your time is tight or you want the convenience. The hotel is 5 minutes easy walk to the train station and about 10 minutes pleasant walk to the old town. A very comfortable Friday/Saturday stay which cost us for 2 nights less than a lesser quality Premier Inn in London, and it included a very good buffet breakfast and all the facilities of a quality hotel. Highly recommended. Oh, and free wi-fi in the room which seems a luxury in any city hotel! Plus - Verona is beautiful and very compact and easily to get around - perfect for a weekend break.
Abbiamo scelto questo grazioso hotel a due passi dalla Basilica di San Zeno e da Castelvecchio per trascorrere un week-end a Verona. Stanza (matrimoniale piccola) pulita, comoda e funzionale, personale molto garbato e gentile, cena gustosa e colazione variegata, servizio navetta da e per la stazione di Porta Nuova. Siamo rimasti contenti e torneremo volentieri.
Hotel situato a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro di Verona, raggiungibile con una piacevole passeggiata panoramica. Camere ampie, con arredamento moderno, letto comodo e spazioso. Personale gentile e disponibile. Buona la colazione a buffet con ampia scelta.
Wir waren 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel - absolut empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und sleek. Es gibt zusätzlich zum queen size ein kleines Bett , A/C, Tisch, Minikülschrank und tadaaa-WiFi. Das Badezimmer ist renoviert und mit allem ausgestatet was man braucht. Nicht zu vergessen das Frühstück: auf der Terasse oder drinnen, reichhaltig, mit frischen früchten. Das Parking in der Tiefgarage ist safe, bedarf aber etwas Geschick beim rausfahren (sehr steil) und guter Koordination mit dem Tor. Stadtzentrum in ca. 15-20 Gehminuten. Würden sicher wiederkommen! This hotel is located about 8 minutes walk from the station at Porta Nuova, where the airport bus stops. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and well equipped with a good shower room. An excellent cold buffet breakfast is available for 8 Euros, with a range of cereals, fruit, cheese and meats and a great selection of cakes and pastries! Cold drinks may be purchased from chillers in the lobby and added to your room bill but there is also a bar. The hotel runs an hourly shuttle into town in the afternoon and evening. A great place to stay! The Wifi is also extremely fast!
We were surprised and delighted with the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was, for an additional fee, underground parking for the motorcycles. An elevator made it easy to move our gear in and out. We were walking distance from the center of Verona. This is a great, cost-effective alternative for visitors to the city.
Consigliatissimo, dovendo tornare a Verona tornerei qua. Siamo stati in questo hotel in vacanza per un po’ di giorni, avevamo una camera matrimoniale standard con bagno. Camera e bagno puliti, con ogni comodità, grandi il giusto, la pulizia era fatta ogni giorno, camera insonorizzata, ben riscaldata (volendo la temperatura la potevi anche regolare tu), avevamo il frigobar, la cassaforte, tutto il necessario per star bene. Personale dell’hotel sempre gentile e disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Avevamo compreso anche la colazione che era a buffet, c’era di tutto dal dolce al salato. L’hotel si trova a metà strada tra la stazione dei treni-bus e il centro della città, con una piacevole e fattibile camminata si arriva sia al centro di Verona sia alla stazione. Vicino all’hotel comunque c’è la fermata del bus numero 11 che vi porta al centro. Sempre vicino all’hotel c’è il supermercato discount lidl. insomma, la zona offre tante comodità. L’hotel dispone anche di un ristorante-pizzeria che sicuramente proveremo la prossima volta. Abbiamo anche usufruito del deposito bagagli gratuito. Consigliatissimo veramente, sono molto contenta della scelta di questo hotel :-)
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Martini. The hotel is very close to the station, which is great. It's very clean and the reception staff were very helpful. We walked into old town Verona in about 20min. And it's a lovely walk. There are some restaurants close by but we ate in town every night. Also, there are self service laundries close by- great for travelers. And the wifi is super fast. I'd stay there again.
